These last two years I have been lucky enough to work for several publishers, especially in the United Kingdom, United States, Ireland, Spain. But this is my first illustrated story book published in Argentina, my own country. So you can imagine my joy! <3

Madam Mim

I still believe that she looks a lot more scary when she is disguised as a beautiful woman. Love her big green eyes, her crazy personality, her shrill voice! As a child I loved that scene and I wish there was a Madam Mim doll, I certainly would buy it!!

I love this character, she is very complex. I wanted to capture her evil look, while showing how tired she is of all the lies.

Lieutenant Helga Katrina Sinclair.
I watched  Atlantis: The Lost Empire twice this month. This time I wanted to take a look at Helga’s character. She is really interesting. Here we have this beautiful, intelligent, determined and strong woman, who is second in command of a whole expedition. The kind of character I like.
On another note, lately I’ve been very busy working on some illustrations for several children’s books, but I will try to update my blog as often as I can! :)
